Uncompromising Data Integrity & ISO-Aligned Field Supervision
Multi-Layered Validation, Strict Field Protocols, and Systematic Quality Assurance Across Saudi Arabia
Overview
At Alpha Field & Tab, data integrity is the cornerstone of our operations. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for substandard data collection, combining strict field management protocols with modern technical validation tools.Every project executed across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia undergoes a rigorous, multi-stage Quality Control (QC) framework—spanning pre-field preparation, live field supervision, back-checking, and post-field technical verification—to guarantee that our clients receive clean, audited, and decision-ready data.
Multi-Stage Quality Assurance Framework
1 Pre-Fieldwork Preparation & Material Verification
- Field Material Audit: Before deployment, our quality assurance and data processing teams complete a full audit of all client assets, including questionnaire logic, translation accuracy, stimuli concepts, image assets, and hardware compatibility.
- CAPI/CATI Link Validation: Mobile survey links undergo stress-testing across multiple operating systems to verify logic skips, piping rules, validation constraints, and localization before entering the field.
- Structured Field Briefings: Project managers conduct mandatory face-to-face briefings with field managers and supervisors. Supervisors perform mock interviews and pilot tests with field interviewers to address dialect nuances, sensitive questions, and routing rules.
2 Strict Field Logistics & Quota Allocation Rules
- Cap on Interviewer Workload: To prevent interviewer fatigue and data bias, an interviewer is limited to working on a maximum of two active projects concurrently.
- Sample Dispersion Controls: No individual interviewer is permitted to complete more than 15% of the total project sample, ensuring a healthy geographic and demographic spread across survey locations.
- Supervised Field Launch: Every interviewer is accompanied by a senior field supervisor during their initial interviews to evaluate approach methodology, protocol adherence, and screening accuracy.
3 Live Supervision & Technical Audit Protocols
- 100% Digital Media Recording: Audio recordings for telephone (CATI) and face-to-face (CAPI) sessions are logged and archived for supervisor auditing and client review.
- Geotagging & Real-Time Tracking: CAPI tablets capture automatic GPS coordinates and precise time-stamps at the start and completion of each interview to verify physical presence and survey duration.
- Multi-Tier Back-Checking: A dedicated QC unit independently verifies a minimum of 20% to 30% of all completed interviews via phone callbacks, physical re-visits, and audio file audits to confirm respondent eligibility and answer consistency.
4 Data Processing Integrity & Final Verification
- Logic & Speed Checks: Automated cleaning algorithms detect speeders, flat-liners, straight-line responses, and logical inconsistencies before dataset compilation.
- Verbatim & Codebook Verification: Open-ended responses are cross-checked by senior coders to maintain translation accuracy and categorization standards across dual-language outputs (Arabic and English).
- Final Deliverable Sign-Off: Datasets, frequency tables, and cross-tabulations undergo final technical validation by our Head of Data Processing before secure client dispatch.
